The captive
X-51 spills the beans about Vance Astro's history to the future
Major Astro of the Guardians of the Galaxy. In Paradise, some folks
still aren't convinced of what's happenning. Meanwhile, the Heralds
arrive in New York City, and Peter Parker is shocked to meet his
daughter from another reality...Spider-Girl! The future Iron Man
just hangs out in the background, looking tough. In England, Medusa
prepares for her wedding to King Britain. Finally, Dr. Strange prepares
to rescue Clea...and hunt down Mephisto! |

for the Terrigen Mists in the Hidden Land, but Karnak manages to
stop them.

the Captain Britain and Medusa's wedding.) King Britain and Medusa
are married, while Bloodstorm seeks a blood transfusion from Ororo
that may cure her vampirism. Meanwhile, in the realm of the dead,
Frank Castle is suffering, but this time, it may be his own fault.
Blastaar and Annihilus break through the Negative Zone into the
real world, blaming Richards for what is happening to their realm.
Finally, Captain America seeks help from the last person he'd ever
expect to work with...the Skull! |

We finally discover Logan's true origin (expounding upon what we
discovered in the Origin miniseries). As it turns out,
Logan is one of the last survivors of what humanity was meant to
be before the Celestials came along and screwed everything up. Also...the
Grey Gargoyle releases the former members of Excalibur from their
stone prison...including Queen Meggan! |

The future Iron
Man gets his wish: "Finally, a little action!" Vance and
his Guardians square off against Blastaar, Annihilus, and other
Negative Zone baddies until Redwing interferes. The Heralds show
up, and Arno is sent to pull Redwing out of the fire. Naturally,
the Heralds get caught up in the battle as well. Meanwhile...we
learn the truth about Hyperion, and Jude the Entropic Man is starting
to lose his patience. |

Reed and Sue
struggle to combat the Entropic Man, while Thor, Loki, and Surtur

the same time, Arno offers to help Vance Astro empower the people
of his time...seeing as he's had some experience with radiation.

(The Iron Man
of 2020 only appears in a splash shot here.) Thor, Loki, and Surtur
throw down against Odin and his armies, and eventually defeat him,
revealing that Odin was once just a man. Thor and crew leave him
to suffer with his own thoughts, but he manages to create yet another
world for himself.

Reed and his
team attempt to "fix" the Negative Zone, while X-51 creates
a new body for Deathlok, and we learn the truth about Ghost Rider.
We see that Arno feels great shame for allowing the nuclear bomb
to go off in his world, and by helping out Vance Astro, he'll somewhat
atone for his sins. Finally, Cap goes with Kyle and Thanos to visit
the Skull...but his plans go awry when the Skull regains his powers
to control minds again.
